Through the use of a special amino acid and enzyme i.v. solution, over the course of 10 Outpatient treatment days, patients leave with absolutely no interest in alcohol, or whatever their drug of choice is. It is medically documented and is based on something called "Reward Deficiency Syndrome"--the addictive brain receptors don't register satisfaction and/or fulfillment / reward the same way a non-addict would...it is a genetically inherited tendency, but is not permanent. Through the outpatient program the patient receives these drips and usually by the 2nd day they're already noticing a major difference.

The program is not done here in the U.S. because US detox facilities can't make enough $ to make it cost effective because at the end of 10 days, in addition to the fact that the enzyme that is used is not FDA Approved for detox...it is from SouthAfrica. It was originally to become part of the old Shick Shadel program but they went out of business and the enzyme was shelved until we resurrected it in 1990. We have exclusive use rights on it now. It can be combined with a total medical detox and health evaluation as well.
