Background:
We are privileged to be one of a few distributors in the U.S. who distributes this raw material since Dr.Bormann is good friends with the Exclusive Distributor for the US, Canada & Mexico. This product was founded on proven research of the immunological properties of Beta Glucans. These are molecules extracted from glucose chains from several different sources, primarily in the past saccharomyces (baker's yeast) cell walls was the primary source. We knew that specific mushroom species had the active linkages as well but due to technology limitations, it has not been feasible to mass produce a purified beta glucan extract from mushrooms. That has all changed with this new fermentation processing technology in Taiwan.

There are hundreds of mushroom products in the nutraceutical industry but one would have to take volumous amounts to achieve the purity and concentration present in our products. We now have a fantastic product which turns out to work better than we'd ever hoped for and tastes great too. It mixes easily into drinks and foods so you don't have to take pills anymore to get the benefits...!!

Research and Development
Today, the environment for the working population is often competitive and stressful. Under such stress and pressure, there is little time for quality meals. This creates a lack of nutrition, which in turn weakens the immune system, causing it to succumb easily to sicknesses.

Due to rapid industrial developments, environmental pollution is beginning to override the body's ability to fight off such toxins. This is a major health threat and a reason why cancer, heart attacks, and pathogenic infections are the three main causes of health problems. In order to maintain a healthy body, strengthening the immune system is the most important factor. In recent years, doctors have realized that using natural methods to prevent pathogen and to maintain good health is a natural mainstream. In 1987, our manufacturer began research on Beta Glucan by taking metabolites from a variety of cultured mushrooms. The first generation of Beta Glucan was introduced as a drink. In later years, Beta Glucan fine powder was developed. After many years of clinical tests and analysis, the beta glucan product was proven to be very effective for health enhancement. It was also concluded that the product has zero negative side effects and was completely safe to use. Since that time, we have further improved the quality and purity of the product and now, after many years of improvement, we are able to manufacture high purity and effective Beta Glucan complex.

This unusual Beta Glucan is derived from the Reichi mushroom, Schizophyllum, Trametes, Agaricus blazei, and Shitake. It is manufactured by advanced, modern, solid fermentation technology, low temperature and supersonic nanotechnology. In addition to the Beta Glucan fractions, the product contains mushroom spore compliment, active selected mushroom extracts and metabolites. It also contains ribonucleic acid & unique trace minerals. Major Composition
Beta Glucan contains various forms of Beta Glucan from over 25 different mushroom speecies extracts; it also contains organic manganese, iron, zinc, copper, and selenium. General Use Instructions
For health maintenance, two to three grams each dose (1/2 teaspoon), 2-3 times daily. Mix with warm or room temp. water to drink.

Application of Beta Glucan in the cooking industry

It reduces the raw taste of meat and seafood.
When barbequing, it will enhance the moisture and flavor of the food.
In meat soup, it will enhance the flavor and quality of the meat.
It helps retain the shape and natural appearance of squash and meat.
In baking pies and cakes, it helps to retain the moisture.
It enhances the flavor of dumplings.
It buffers spicy and bitter tastes.
It reduces the formation of saturated fats and prevents an increase in cholesterol in the meal from steaming, boiling, or deep-frying.
It can be mixed with soy sauce and will enhance the freshness and flavor of the sauce.

For Drinking

Add 1 teaspoon of Beta Glucan into coffee. It will subdue the bitterness and reduce the negative side effects of coffee.
Add 1 teaspoon of Beta Glucan into any fruit or vegetable juice. It will enhance the health benefits of the drink.
Beta Glucan can be added as an ingredient when preparing soup. It will enhance the soups' effect and decrease the chances of constipation.
Add Beta Glucan powder to alcohol drinks and it will reduce the bitterness and negative side effects of alcohol. Before or after drinking liquor, add 1 teaspoon of powder into water, drink and it will aid in the reduction of drowsiness and loss of motor skills.
If Beta Glucan is added into any drink, the drink will instantly taste better and fresher.
Beta Glucan can also be added into regular drinking water. (For cancer patients, take three to four times the regular dose.)
