A Brief Background:

Novel proteinase enzyme extracts from sources such as snakes, silkworms, moths, etc. have been shown benefical in supporting the body's circulatory and healing processes for decades. They have a long tradition of beneficial therapeutic use in many cultures including Asian, Middle East, Baltic countries and South America.
Bolouke™ is an Oral enteric coated capsule, that is formulated to specifically only dissolve excess fibrin and by direct action on fibrin itself as well as activating the body's own tPA (tissue plasminogen-- endogenous tissue plasminogen is your body's own enzyme which dissolves excess fibrin)...

BOLUOKE™ is activated only when fibrin is present (clot forming). In normal conditions it does not react with normal plasma proteins i.e. fibrinogen (precursor of fibrin) or prothrombin, therefore it does not cause prolonged bleeding which can be a side effect of other non-specific anti-clot treatments, or non steroid anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID). i.e.. Heparin, warfarin, EDTA, aspirin, etc...It also does not produce some of the same dangers as with asprin which over long term use increases the risk of causing ulcers and blindness...

BOLUOKE's fibrinolytic function peaks in 5-30 minutes after the intake and returns to normal level in 90 minutes.

Boluoke® (lumbrokinase) has been available to the North American health care professionals since November of 2001. It is a revolutionary product, and shows great promise in optimizing the fibrinolytic activity of the body with little side effects. Lumbrokinase is also referred to as earthworm fibrinolytic enzymes (EFE), earthworm powder enzymes (EPE), or e-PA.

For many centuries earthworm has been used in the Far East traditional medicine practice, and it was recorded in the "Ben Cao Gang Mu", the traditional Eastern world's pharmacopoeia, as a potent medicine for "Liver Wind uprising and Channel blockage" conditions.

"In the 1980's, Japanese scholoars like Dr. Hisashi Mihara and Dr. Hiroyuki Sumi succeeded in extracting a fibrin-dissolving enzyme from Lumbricus rubellus, and found that this enzyme consists of a few proteolytic sub-enzymes, which are collectively named Lumbrokinase."
Since then many Korean and Chinese researchers have compiled extensive scientific and clinical data on lumbrokinase extracted from Lumbricus rubellus and Eisenia fetida. In Japan and Korea lumbrokinase has been the main ingredient in "Dragon Heart", a popular health supplement for supporting circulatory health. Whereas in China, lumbrokinase has been studied thoroughly and has been used clinically for clot-induced hypoperfusion conditions since early 1990s.

Boluoke® (lumbrokinase) is the only fully researched oral fibrinolytic supplement on the market. Besides having in vitro studies, animal studies, toxicity studies, and pharmacokinetic studies done, Boluoke® has also been put through all phases of clinical trials (including randomized double blind controlled studies) in China. Lumbrokinase has been studied as a treatment for various clinical conditions, including ischemic stroke, stable & unstable angina, acute myocardial infarction, deep venous thrombosis, central retinal vein occlusion, diabetic nephritis, fibrinogenemia, vascular dementia, Meniere's disease, and more.

Don't be fooled by imitation products. Currently some companies are making products with 250mg or 230mg of plain old ground up earthworm (lumbrokinase) per capsule and trying to quote Boluoke®'s credential as their own.

Boluoke®'s capsules are of 200mg in size, and contain 20mg of lumbrokinase inside each capsule.

In addition, Boluoke®'s enzymatic strength is standardized against urokinase and t-PA. The imitation products are likely just earthworm protein extract containing little pure lumbrokinase or lumbrokinase of low enzymatic strength. Some products may even claim to have lumbrokinase mixed with proprietary herbal formula, and the ingredients of which they do not disclose. Would you trust your health to products like these? So make sure you are on Boluoke®, the one and only that's backed by full research and extensive clinical data!

NOTE: Nattokinase cannot do what BOLOUKE® can do. Nattokinase is a soybean curd enzyme made in Japan and is being sold as a less expensive alternative to BOLOUKE®. It is designed to digest soybean curd proteins and has a very weak action compared to ours. Also, since Nattokinase is a soy-based product, it is both a digestive inhibitor as well as a neurotoxin and we don't; recommend it. Nattokinase is NOT the same and doesn't work on the same enzymes or increase tPA...

Other Ingredients: gelatin, polysaccharides from rice bran. No preservatives, additives, or common allergens such as gluten, egg or dairy proteins.

OUR RECOMMENDED USE:
ACUTE WITH KNOWN CLOTS: Take 2 capsules, 3 x per day on an empty stomach, (not less than 1 hr.between meals). Do this daily for 3-6 weeks or as directed by your qualified health professional. Once the clot has been verified dissolved via Ultrasound, patient can revert to Preventative dose.

Caution should be given to patients with active internal bleeding, ulcers, history of cerebrovascular accident, recent (within 2 months) intracranial or intraspinal surgery, intracranial neoplasm, arteriovenous malformation or aneurysm, known bleeding diathesis, and uncontrolled arterial hypertension.
Although hemorrhagic strokes are far less common, (occur when an artery bursts), care should be given to differentiate the type and the cause of the strokes and the timing of using Bolouke™. For example to use it after the hemorrhaging is over, and no further bleeding is anticipated.

TERMINOLOGY DEFINITIONS:
Plasmin: The active portion of the fibrinolytic system, an enzyme with a high specificity for fibrin, with the particular ability to dissolve formed fibrin clots but also having a similar degradation effects on other plasma proteins and clotting factors and proteins in general.
Urokinase: A substance found in the urine of mammals, including human, and of other vertebrates, which activates the fibrinolytic system, used in hospital for the treatment of embolism. It decrease the levels of fibrinogen and plasminogen and an increase in the amount of circulating fibrin may persist for 12-24 hours.
t-PA: Tissue Plasminogen Activator (the body's own natural method of dissolving excess clot factors)
