Exercise with Oxygen Therapy



Basically, the body's ability to transfer oxygen from the lungs to the cells is perhaps the most significant factor in whether you live a healthy life or not. This transfer mechanism becomes damaged with age, and then susceptibility to illness increases. However, EWOT aids the body in repairing this vital mechanism.

The scientific aspect of EWOT is a little complex, but here is a basic explanation. Oxygen comprises 20% of the atmosphere. Atmospheric pressure is 760 mm and thus the partial pressure of oxygen entering the body's lungs is about 150 mm. However, oxygen in the lungs is diluted considerably with carbon dioxide. As the environment becomes increasingly polluted, the oxygen we intake is more and more diluted by carbon dioxide leaving the body and in the atmosphere. After oxygen is diluted, its pressure is reduced to 100-110 mm. This pressure drives the oxygen from the lungs into the blood and via the arteries to the capillaries in the extremities of the body. The capillaries then release some of the oxygen to support individual cells.

Ideally, the pressure of the oxygen in the arteries will almost equal the pressure in the lungs. However, aging causes the arterial pressure to decrease to approximately 70 mm as opposed to 95 mm.

In order for the oxygen to reach the cells from the capillaries, it must dissolve into the water of the body. Unlike carbon dioxide, though, oxygen does not dissolve easily into liquid. The significance is this: Oxygen's solubility is heavily dependent on the pressure driving it.

Dr. Robert Rowen of Second Opinion explains Oxygen is extracted in the capillaries and when the blood comes out the venous end of he capillary, the average pressure of oxygen in the veins is about 40 mm early in life and drops to 35 mm by age 70. The difference in the pressure of oxygen between the arterial and venous sides reflects how well the oxygen is delivered and consumed.

In your 30s, the amount of oxygen released to the cells is significantly higher than in your 70s: a 30 year-old will release 55 mm (95-40) while a 70 year-old will release 35 mm (70-35). That's a huge drop in the amount of pressure of oxygen your cells receive.

The problem is that when you age, the oxygen pressure falls. Thus, while the volume of oxygen may stay the same and it may appear you are getting enough, your may be oxygen deficient because there isn't enough pressure to make use of the volume of oxygen.

The breakthrough of EWOT is that it raises the arterial pressure to youthful levels; it only involves breathing high levels of oxygen while exercising. Exercise increases the circulation, creating a greater pressure to drive oxygen into the capillaries. The increase in pressure facilitates the repair of the transfer mechanism. EWOT is effective for every conceivable condition because it improves the delivery of the most essential substance in tissue life and repair.

HOW IT WORKS...
1. Procure some sort of up-and-down movement exercize device...Rebounders or other small trampolines (we like the one HSN offers for $99.00)
of good quality work well. We also like vertical vibration machines like the Standingmate or Turbosonic which are sonically driven, not mechanical. Mechanical vibrators can injure the back and brain. YOU BURN UP THE METABOLIC GARBAGE FASTER THIS WAY.
2. Do NOT jump on the trampoline...just gently bounce by bending knees while breathing the 02. Do it for 10 min. and work up to 30 min. per day while watching news on TV, etc. You should feel your lymph moving in your tissues when you're doing this.

3. Pour the germanium liquid (1/4 cup) into water humidifier with some distilled water. It can be used straight if prefered but you need to periodically wash out the humidifier to keep it sterile. Boil the top for 30 min. in water to kill germs inside the tubes, etc. Do not use if it turns milky. Buy a new one. Do NOT share with other people.
4. Hook up the cannula to the humidifier (you might need to weight it down so it doesn't fall over while you're moving...putting it into a foam cut out works well) and breath oxygen starting at approx. 1/4 -1/2 litre per minute working up to 4 liter per min depending on the person while exercizing. Some suggest going as high as 7-8 literes per min. but we find that isn't necessary and especially tough for ill and compromised people. NOTE: For those who have been very inactive for a long period, If you get dizzy initially, it is sometimes normal. Stop, sit down and wait and try it again later. Sometimes blood gases adjust and can affect the vegal nerve and make you dizzy. Eventually it will normalize. Do not do this without someone to assist if you've been very ill or not moving for a long period of time.

PURE OXYGEN SOURCE:
Don't be fooled by devices on the Internet which promote "30% Oxygen"...this is only 10% over room air which will be around 20% by weight. These are very low concentrations and not worth the time or $$. Money is better spent on an actual medical concentrator.


1. 100% Oxygen Welding Oxygen Tank (the quality of the 02 is exactly the same as medical. The tanks are certified differently and welding tanks are made of steel not aluminum. We teach our clients who don't want an RX for oxygen to get a 2-3 ft. tank with a CGA540 brass thread style regulator attachment. (see photo). Call your local welding supply in the yellow pages. DO NOT tell them you're using it for personal health application...they can't sell it to you for that. It is perfectly legal to have oxygen tanks for home craft use, jewlry making, etc. Just make sure it has the CGA540 style threaded regulator attachment (looks like your house garden hose threading).

2. Oxygen Concentrators -- these are much more expensive than tank 02 and can only pull (concentrate) 02 from the air at about 92-98% max which is fine for EWOT. These require periodic "zeolite bed" replacement so be sure to ask how many hours they are good for. We recommend DeVilbiss or Airsept, Integra or Invacare. The more zeolite filtration seives, the purer the air will be and the higher the 02 %... 95%+ is best. Typicaly they run $1200-$3000 depending on brand and features.
