Hyalronic Acid products are powders extracted from Type II Collagen
extracted fron Rooster Combs. The Chinese have pretty much cornered
the market on that form. We consider it actually potentially
dangerous due to the potential presence of viruses and prions
in the powder since Cosmetic aren't heavily regulated and some
of the products we've tested have been found to contain only
trace amounts of HA Powder...NO ONE HAS THE STRENGTH OR THE QUALITY
WE DO. THIS IS 1.25% solution by weight. It is the max amount
that can be put into liquid solution. Ours is made in the same
European pharmacuetical facility which makes Restylane® for
facial dermatological injection.

Come From? (How Is It Made?)

been made from Collagen extracted from Rooster Combs or Chicken
Sternums. HylaPure® is the first LIQUID sterile solution
of 1% hyaluronic acid (sodium hyaluronate) which is the max strength
which will go into solution. It is manufacturered for our supplier
directly to specifications in a licensed Pharmaceutical Lab,
not a food or supplement facility. There is a new non-sterile
food grade source from soy cultures hitting the market but it
is too early to know if the quality will hold up...

- European biotechnology has
produced collagen from fermenttion cultures which don't require
the use of animal sources and so we chose this type of technology
rather than risks associated these days with animal sourced products.
Our product only uses the new bacterial culturing technology
produce our medium dalton weight HA for easier absorption through
the gut. It is one of the purest forms of HA found outside the
human body. We use the same manufacturing facility which produces
the high end product Restylane® which is used by Dermatologists
& Plastic Surgeons for injection as a wrinkle filler on the
face.

- How Does HA Work?
- As mentioned, HA is found
as a naturally-occurring substance in the human body. While it
has many different benefits, its primary function is to lubricate
joints and reduce inflammation. When cellular tissue is traumatized,
it becomes inflamed and breaks down HA. The breakdown of HA results
in joint lubrication problems, increased inflammation, as well
as muscular and myofascial tightness. Levels of HA in our bodies
also decrease with age. Introducing HA, either injected or orally,
has been found to supplement the levels of HA in the human body
