TERMINOLOGY CLAIRIFICATIONS:
Glutathione peroxidase is an enzyme which neutralizes hydrogen peroxide, requiring tripeptide glutathione as a cofactor.
SuperOxide Dismutase is an enzyme which converts superoxide and protons as H+ to hydrogen peroxide and molecular oxygen
Catalase is an enzyme which converts hydrogen peroxide to water and oxygen
"Antioxidants" is a term which refers to a class of molecules which contain all of these enzymes or their precursors.
 
In the human body there are three "Super Antioxidants" known by the scientific/ medical community as: Glutathione, Super Oxide Dismutase(SOD), and Catalase. These three Super Antioxidants hold the secret to life itself. These are essential to life itself.

In real life,the amount of this enzyme required to off-set the oxidation will vary with the individual and their lifestyle, so how long it will take for one person to restore their hair color is not known. Only animal studies have been done at this time. There is a rush by pharmaceutical companies to make a patentable formula which will supposedly guarantee restoration. I would be suspicious of anything oral since these key enzymes are broken down in the stomach for the most part, unless it has been formulated in a specific technology to withstand the gut acids, like the lipisomal formula we have or other. For hair restoration, topical application use together with a method to increase circulation (LED lam,ps, Infrared Heat Lamp, etc.) or a microneedling device like we sell is the best method of insuring the best results.
