Background:
ZYMUCAN™ is our private label of a unique raw material which we are privileged to be one of a few distributors in the U.S. for since Dr.Bormann is good friends with the Exclusive Distributor for the US, Canada & Mexico. This product was founded on proven research of the immunological properties of Beta Glucans, specifically the most active linkages of ß1,3/1,6-D Glucan. These are molecules extracted from glucose chains from several different sources, primarily in the past saccharomyces (baker's yeast) cell walls was the primary source. We knew that specific mushroom species had the active linkages as well but due to technology limitations, it has not been feasible to mass produce a purified beta glucan extract from mushrooms. That has all changed with this new fermentation processing technology in Taiwan.
 
There are hundreds of mushroom products in the nutraceutical industry but one would have to take volumous amounts to achieve the purity and concentration present in our products. We now have a fantastic product which turns out to work better than we'd ever hoped for and tastes great too (a definite improvement over our old product, Betacan™). It mixes easily into drinks and foods so you don't have to take pills anymore to get the benefits...!!
 
Research and Development
Today, the environment for the working population is often competitive and stressful. Under such stress and pressure, there is little time for quality meals. This creates a lack of nutrition, which in turn weakens the immune system, causing it to succumb easily to sicknesses.
Due to rapid industrial developments, environmental pollution is beginning to override the body's ability to fight off such toxins. In order to maintain a healthy body, strengthening the immune system is the most important factor. In 1987, our manufacturer began research on Beta Glucan by taking metabolites from a variety of cultured mushrooms. The first generation of Beta Glucan extract was introduced as a drink. In later years, Mushroom sourced Beta Glucan fine powder was developed. After many years of clinical tests and analysis, the product was proven to be very effective for health enhancement.  It was also concluded that the product has zero negative side effects and was completely safe to use. Since that time, they have further improved the quality and purity of the product and now, after many years of improvement they are able to manufacture high a purity and effective Beta Glucan Complex. Medical studies into its effectieness for immune enhancement and in cancer are ongoing at University of Taiwan also.

This unusual Beta Glucan is derived from more than 20 differeent species of mushrooms including Reichi , Schizophyllum, Trametes, Agaricus blazei, and Shitake. It is manufactured by advanced solid fermentation technology, using low temperature and supersonic nanotechnology. In addition to the Beta Glucan fractions, the product contains mushroom spore compliment, active selected mushroom extracts and metabolites. It also contains ribonucleic acid & unique trace minerals. Beta Glucan can improve the body's cellular and humoral immunity and the regular cell function and metabolism. It has proven health benefits for high blood pressure, hypertension,immune enhancement as well as general agricultural and livestock uses. In general, it can reduce fatigue and improve your health conditions. It is one of the most effective health enhancers on the market. Due to its heat-enduring nature, our Beta Glucan maintains its effectiveness even after heating for a period of time. It is not affected by high or low pH levels.
 
Major Composition
Zymucan™ contains various forms of Beta Glucan extracted & concentrated from many species of mushrooms including ß1>3,1>6 linkages; it also contains organic manganese, iron, zinc, copper, and selenium.
Our Beta Glucan is derived from fermentation of spores and mycelia from mutiple species of mushrooms noted above, using a unique nanotechnology fermentation manufacturing process, producing pure and pathogen free powder. It is highly biologically active. It is both water and fat soluable and is stable and retains activity up to 500 degrees Farenheight.
 
General Use Instructions
For health maintenance, two to three grams each dose (1/2 teaspoon), 2-3 times daily. Mix with warm or juices or may be eaten alone or sprinkled over cereals, used in sauces, etc.
 
ZYMUCAN™ is 100% natural, is non-toxic and has no negative side effects.  Due to its' heat tolerant nature, it maintains its effectiveness even after high temperature exposure for a period of time. It is not affected by excessive acidic or alkaline conditions. We believe it is one of the best functional foods and food additives in the world.
 
For health maintenance take 1-3 grams per day in split servings
For health-enhancment, 4-6 grams/ 1 tsp. 3x/day or as directed (no upper limit).

Xylican™ is a proprietary blend of D-Xylitol and Xymucan™. It can be used for sweetening drinks or taken by the teaspoon alone.
